Ginger Destroys Cancer More Effectively than Death-Linked Cancer Drugs
by Anthony Gucciardi
Ginger, a cousin spice of super anti-cancer substance turmeric, is known for its ability to shrink tumors. Astoundingly, it is even more effective than many cancer drugs, which have been shown to be completely ineffective and actually accelerate the death of cancer patients. Commonly consumed across the world in small doses among food and beverage products, the medicinal properties of ginger far surpass even advanced pharmaceutical inventions.
The subject of one study based out of Georgia State University, whole ginger extract was revealed to shrink prostate tumor size by a whopping 56% in mice. The anticancer properties were observed in addition to ginger’s role in reducing inflammation as well as being a rich source of life-enhancing antioxidants. But what about cancer drugs? Could this simple spice really topple the advanced pharmaceuticals that are often touted as the ‘only option’ for cancer patients by medical doctors?
It turns out that cancer drugs are not only severely ineffective at permanently shrinking tumors, but they actually make tumors larger and kill the patient more quickly. More specifically, the tumors have been found to ‘metasize’, meaning they come back bigger and more stronger than their original size. What’s more, the ‘metasizing’ was found to be very aggressive. According to scientists Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, the premium priced drugs were little more than death sentences for many patients.
“Whatever manipulations we’re doing to tumors can inadvertently do something to increase the tumor numbers to become more metastatic, which is what kills patients at the end of the day,” said study author Dr. Raghu Kalluri.
These are the very drugs considered to be the scientifically proven solution by mainstream health officials.
Meanwhile, ginger presents virtually no side effects and has been used as a food product by many cultures for countless centuries. Instead of creating super tumors, whole ginger extract was shown to exert significant growth-inhibiting and death-inductory effects in a spectrum of prostate cancer cells. Over 17 other studies have also reached similar conclusions on ginger’s anticancer benefits, with the spice being shown by peer-reviewed research to positively impact beyond 101 diseases.

How is this ginger extract used?
Oct 18, 2012 @ 17:14:49
That is a great question. I came here looking for that information specifically. I suspect that it is being injected directly into the tumor. If that is the case this treatment is of only marginal use.

Saul Heff I seen this and was wondering if I could share it? I run a metaphysical store in Woodhaven, MI and have known so many people that have suffered from cancer and used the medical treatment first. I would love to share this on my blog, but don't want to infringe on your family history. Please let me know, thanks

Very cool – ginger is so versatile and delicious too!
Aug 10, 2012 @ 04:55:53
do you have to be careful of the hallucinogenic factor of nutmeg in the mix? I'd like to hear it, also.

I think you would need to drink a lot of the brew fora hallucinogenic effect
Aug 10, 2012 @ 07:05:07
I might give the article more credit if they could spell "metastasize."
Aug 13, 2012 @ 04:46:52
u mean u never misspelled a word before……..amazing ….but don't believe it.
Aug 13, 2012 @ 04:53:52
There is misspelling and miswording. This word was spelled the same way twice in a way that rather implies a misunderstanding of its meaning. As it is a word that is absolutely a part of the vocabulary of anyone involved with cancer, I am left with a sincere doubt about the author's level of expertise in the subject. If I were writing about a new way of propelling cars and twice spoke of the trainsaxle, wouldn't you doubt my expertise?
Aug 25, 2012 @ 12:05:00
perhaps the spell checker could be the blame-I have to say i hear a lot of these cures and i am not sure if id use this as my only wepon of choice (hows my spelling?)
Sep 29, 2012 @ 01:39:28
I thought that at first read as well. But, it looks like they're saying the treatment makes the tumors come back larger, hence, 'metasize'. I was more upset with the term 'more stronger'.
Sep 29, 2012 @ 01:42:21
Nothing so ironic as a couple of Americans arguing over spelling of the English language.
Sep 29, 2012 @ 01:43:41
Touche'! Point well taken LOL
Sep 29, 2012 @ 23:39:47
Excuse me! I may live in the land of poor spelling, but I am hardly an American. London-born of Yorkshire parents and trained in the Queen's English if you don't mind.
Sep 29, 2012 @ 23:46:48
And, I wasn't debating the spelling of the word, either. I was suggesting the author purposely used the word he chose 'metasize'. Now, that he chose to create a word is certainly debatable. Also, is 'American' now an epithet? Oh my, my country has certainly lost face with the rest of the world, hasn't it?
Sep 30, 2012 @ 00:09:19
Bryan's comment seemed to imply so, especially when it comes to spelling, and I can't help but agree to a point. I mourn the loss of good spelling and correct usage. The richness of the English language provides for a level of nuance, subtlety and humour (sp!!) that is rapidly disappearing in this age of casual grammar, spelling and punctuation. And I have to say I choose to live in the US, in spite of its faults. No country is perfect. England is over-populated and expensive. America's religio-political absurdities make polite conversation and serious debate a challenge. As for "metasize," I have trouble believing it's a made-up word as opposed to a malapropism. What would Ogden Nash say? A tumour would be humourous if it could metasize to a better size.
Oct 03, 2012 @ 07:08:05
Really, did you think my fifteen letter, one line comment was an indictment on various countries and their socio-political/religious ideals Christopher? If so I'm sorry. ( out of interest why did you put sp in brackets after you spelled humour correctly?
Oct 06, 2012 @ 11:49:28
I might give your comment more credit if you weren't such an obvious troll.

Oct 18, 2012 @ 13:27:57
Christopher's point is a good one. It isn't just a matter of "misspelling" – it is the fact that the author is so unfamiliar with cancer treatment that he doesn't know this very common term. And, no, it isn't a matter of meaning something different ("tumors getting bigger") – there is no such term.
Also, I am all for supplementation and even take Turmeric, but the assertions in this article – that chemotherapy drugs enhance the size and spread of cancers – are flat out wrong. They are gloriously ignorant in a way that only the most woefully uninformed person could imagine. Are chemotherapy drugs dangerous? YES! These drugs interfere with some of the most basic processes in the body in the hope that cancer will suffer more than you will. They are terrible. But they are better than dying of cancer. And, as a cancer survivor, I know a lot of people alive today because of these therapies and a handful of people who chose alternative therapies – all of whom are now dead.

The reason why the word is in quotation marks is to imply they mean “Metasize” or make larger, not spread. You have to read the article and understand their meaning. Arguing over semantics is ridiculous. If it helps one person then this article served a great purpose. It Metasized the knowledge base. Don't discredit the information over something so trivial.
Dec 31, 2012 @ 18:55:49
I'm no spelling or grammar nazi but I agree with Christopher.
1st – Spell check does recognize and correct misspellings of metastasize.
2nd – "metasize" is not a word and spell check does point that out. Even if you try to google "metasize" google alerts you it's not a word and suggests metastasize, so the term used (metasize) does not imply "make larger, not spread"
I write a blog for the industry of my profession and I never post without re-reading and checking for spelling mistakes. If you are going to write about a topic as important as Cancer and you are not a medical professional you should know enough to spell the terminology you are using correctly.

Read the article again. Two different terms with different meanings.
More specifically, the tumors have been found to ‘metasize’, meaning they come back bigger and more stronger than their original size.
“Whatever manipulations we’re doing to tumors can inadvertently do something to increase the tumor numbers to become more metastatic,
Feb 05, 2013 @ 02:39:36
The word in the article is "metastatis" which in medical terms means http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metastasis Granted, it does get larger, but the metastatic disease is more of a measure of it's ability to penetrate into other organs. Thus, if it were "metasized" that would simply state that it had gotten larger. So it was both a misspelling. and a misunderstanding…
Apr 03, 2013 @ 21:51:07

I would give this article more credit if the specific dosages and ways the ginger is administered were included. I assume ginger that it is not taken as a suppository or rubbed into skin at the prostrate. So many questions like raw, cooked, dried, how much, how often, max and minimum consumption, external, ingestion, internal, injection?

laugh or cry 'foul' if you want. however I have a friend who is a holistic practicioner – when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma more than a year ago, EVERY doctor she went to recommend chemo and radiation… second opinion, third opinion, etc.
Instead, she chose to put her money where her practice had been all along – completely natural healing, no harsh chemo, no radiation, no horrible drugs.
today she is free of cancer. not a trace. did NOT trash her immune system (as chemo/radiation does), but instead she built it back from the ground up.
laugh or cry if you want. it's your choice to live well/eat sensibly/take care of yourself of not. left strictly to the money-mongers at the AMA and Big Pharma, we'd all be on chemo and very soon.
Jan 23, 2013 @ 17:13:40
if she had been eating the right things all along, how did she end up with cancer in the first place? Not trying to be snide, just thinking out loud.
Jan 23, 2013 @ 18:55:54
your truely an idiot you don't get cancer because you don't eat right.
Jan 26, 2013 @ 17:26:17
Logical fallacy, if you dont get cancer from not eating right, how does eating right cure it?
Both are synonymous. If eating right prevents cancer then eatingn right should cure it. If not eating right doesn't start it then how come eating right stops it?
Where's the study? What was the strength? What we're the variables? Once again no actual scientific information supplied, just anecdotes and journalistic jargon. It doesn't even reference the study so we can read it ourselves
Jan 27, 2013 @ 17:17:21
actually, not eating right is the source of most disease, including cancer. Not eating right, i.e.. not consuming all of the essential vitamins and minerals the human body needs in the right amounts, means that we create deficiencies in the body. those deficiencies in the body lead to a weak immune system, therefore opening the door to disease.
Feb 04, 2013 @ 03:27:21
As I have been saying I don't trust anything Big Pharma or the FDA say. The anticancer effects of cannabis has been covered up for a long time. There is corrupt collusion going on here.

Jan 01, 2013 @ 15:37:33
He didnt miss spell metastasize . He says meta size. Which means make larger that is a different word from metastasize which means spread all over your body. What he is saying basically some of these hi dollar drugs kill off the competition to the tumor cells and allow them to aggressively grow very quickly larger. Duh…….
Feb 04, 2013 @ 14:21:34
Not really, what the chemo does is cause the stronger cells to hide, and mutate to an even more chemo resistant form…then grow amd spread. Both chemo and radiation CAUSE cancer. Sugar feeds cancer. The body enviromnent needs changeing for change to take place. No change? No change!
Mar 07, 2013 @ 15:13:12
Thank you Kaj, I totally thought he misspelled metastasize too, thank you clearing that up! I just googled it and you're totally right!

Ill go with the odds everytime.. I may get cancer someday. you can bet I will go with a raw diet and any suggestion a homeopathic oncologist makes.. they are out there and they are saving lives.. have a happy and healthy life.. this is my goal.

Mar 07, 2013 @ 14:41:08
Wow. For appearing on a site called "myscienceacademy" this article displays VERY shoddy scientific standards:
- No link to the actual study (no mention of the authors, not even a title, just "a study").
- Extrapolating results (if those are even accurate to begin with) from lab tests on one specific form of cancer in test animals to simply "ginger cures cancer".
- No mention of methodology or supposed mechanism of action.
- Multiple allusions to "mainstream science/medicine" (wtf is that anyways?) conspiracies to cover up a "secret" cure that could change the world (as if governments all over the world wouldn't be interested in saving literally billions in cash on treatments, no amount of bribing would stop this "secret" from spreading).
- Not just misspelling metastasize, but making a whole new word from it.
- To top it off it turns out to be a copy&paste job from some faddish naturopath blogsite.
And of course the first comment is an anecdote from someone who's holistic practitioner friend was cured from horrible cancers supposedly using only raw broccoli and good spirits.
I weep for the state of scientific literacy on the internet, and I'm sure I'm going to regret wasting my time posting this comment. But I had to. Otherwise Merck and Monsanto won't pay me!

Also, if anyone has any doubts about the veracity of the general content of the article, there is similar information about ginger and ovarian cancer described in an article on the University of Michigan Health System site: http://www.med.umich.edu/opm/newspage/2006/ginger.htm.
And as for Dr. Raghu Kalluri, he really is a top researcher at Harvard: http://kalluri.med.harvard.edu/members.
