Curator Michael Wright shows off his model of the Antikythera mechanism. The Antikythera mechanism is an ancient Greek clockwork machine found in a shipwreck, that has taken more than a century to decipher. This astronomic clock shows that 2.000 years ago the handcraft was already so advanced, even more than today. It seems we are going backwards!

This is likely because handcraft was the only means of production, why on earth would we require skilled handcraft in a world full of precise machines who can complete the work in a fraction of the time.
