oxytocin is a hormone.
Mr Paul here is actually talking about the gene that regulates the expression of the receptor for oxytocin.

So, some people have the gene which allows them to have more oxytocin receptors for the uptake of oxytocin when it is released?

do they also experience sorrow more ? I'm still grieving of loved ones after more than 10 years gone, stray and feral cats and kittens left out and dying. I can't help it, for no reason or at anytime, I burst into very hard, long sobbing spells…is this a nero problem ?
