loads of inaccuracys in this one. Recient discoveries pust the indus valley civilisation back another 1500 yrs contempory and possibly pre dating mesopotamian society. making them possibly the first civilisation. undoubtably other discoveries will happen both for mesopotamia but a greater proportion of indus valley sites as opposed to mesopotamia remain to be descovered/ excavated. so the debate may well shift again. also chatal is only a settlement also chatal is a site not a culture although the lagrest settlement of its age discovered Gobekli Tepe predates it by over 1000 yrs and is the oldest religionus site in the world also chatal exists at to early an epoc to talk of cultures these emerge at about 6500 bc the halafian northern iraq, syria and eastern tuurkey. Chatal is in the west of turkey. and also the ubaidian culture in southern mesopotamia. cultures differ from comples societys. Cultures are defined as having shared properties such as common pottery or burrial styles. complex societys such as the indus or mesopotamian have social stratification citys burocracy etc very different things that should not be confused and this video has confused them.
Would you rather have Glyn's commentin his/her own language. We shouls appreciate that he/she is trying to share the information in the language that th rest of us may understand.
Only numbers 2 and 6 were one's that I never knew.

totally wrong pictures from Indus valley civilization! you are responsible for your website's content! I hope it is just a mistake and is not because of your knowledge!
spot on civilization culture and site have all been confused to a lay person they may appear one and the same but are completly different. think the title should read" 10 civilisations we the creators of this vid have just found out about but we dont realy know what a civilisation is oops" i think thats a more fitting title. to include chatal over tell qaramel just demonstrates a lack of current knowledge http://www.ata.org.tn/fichier_PDF/Original2.pdf journals.uair.arizona.edu › … › Vol 51, No 2 (2009) › Mazurowski
It is inaccurate at least in one of the of the Civilizations, Indus Valley part of the video you are showing sites of Achaemenid Dynasty of Iran then you write about Indus Valley?
Forget the lost civilizations, I'm just amazed that some people wait for other people to post something just to point out all the flaws in the post with no solid reference to correct the flaw. Everyone wants to throw salt but no one wants to buy the salt to throw….smh.
I've heard of like one of these lol. I'm not very knowledgeable in civilizations and stuff. But just thought it was interesting so I shared it. It's very brief though; just a quick run through.
Only thing I dislike is that this video uses BC for the date range instead of BCE.
It's interesting to note that quite a few of the above civilizations disappeared around 1500BC which corresponds with the end of the ice age and the rising of the seas a few hundred feet.
Hitite, Minoanian, and Etruscian, all these were part of the Pelasgian civilization, whose center was in the Balkans, later on known as Ilyria(The New Star), and today called Albania.
In the part were they talk about the strange language of the Etruskian(E-Tru, which means is-brain, synonymous of knowledge, you can use google translate, see for yourselves that Tru=Brain, in Albanian) it's actually Albanian language. The archeologists have translated some writings, using Albanian, but they will not admit it, cause it would give to Albania credits already given to Greece(which is actually an Albanian sub-culture) and Rome. From the name Etruskian, was name the Tuscany(Toscana) in southern Italy. Also the southern Albanians are called Toske, and the northern called Ghege=Gig as for Gigantic, known for being taller than the rest.
I myself have read the texts in etruskian, and I did not need any translation through english to know what was written.
After 2500 years I'm still speaking the same language used by ancestors, and I'm proud of it. Albanian language it's officially known for being the oldest language in Europe, but there are those who speculate that it's actually the mother of all European Languages.
