Note: Sir Tim Berners-Lee didn't "invent the internet" nor did Al Gore. There is no one person who owns that title. Many DARPA, [Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency]. created ARPANET when the link between UCLA and Stanford was created in 1969. What Berners-Lee did was write code that transferred info from one server to another thus creating and coining the phrase World Wide Web; Gore saw that and the applications for international commerce. He was pushing for that since the early 70s when he was a congressman in his state. See the link provided. Educate yourselves.
