Life as normal in China.
What doesn't explode over there?
Protip, avoid: Office chairs, watermelons, refrigerators, trains, sewage trucks, computer monitors.
Still, it takes a special type of person to drop firecrackers down a sewage pipe cover.

Actually, when looking for a low pressure gas leak in beach like sand areas like Geritsen Beach, where the gas has no barrier to migration, one of the most efficient methods is to stick stanchions in the ground and light them. The stanchion with the highest flame is closest to the leak source. Not good for manholes though.
